What To Expect
As an SMT Manufacturing Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production line, driving process development, and recruiting top talent to support manufacturing excellence. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about developing both people and processes.

What You'll Do
? Lead and mentor the SMT process development team, ensuring continuous improvement and technical excellence
? Drive recruiting efforts to build a high-performing team of SMT technicians, and operators
? Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance team capabilities
? Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
? Implement advanced process controls and automation strategies to improve quality and throughput
? Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process defects, leveraging Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
? Ensure compliance with IPC, ESD, and industry quality standards
? Develop and implement best practices to minimize rework, scrap, and downtime
? Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure material readiness and vendor alignment
? Provide data-driven reports on SMT line performance, KPIs, and improvement initiatives to leadership

What You'll Bring
? 3+ years of experience managing teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred
? Strong understanding of SMT processes, including stencil printing, pick-and-place, reflow soldering, and AOI
? Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and data-driven decision-making around production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput and costs)
? Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
? Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting
? Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
? Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines
? Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
? Fluent with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
? Ability to a flexible shift, including nights and weekend, if necessary

Expected Compensation

$96,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
