About the position

The Automated Warehouse Material Handler at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by retrieving and stacking products as specified on pick tickets. This role requires working efficiently and safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment while maintaining safety standards. The position involves collaboration with team members and adapting to various work areas throughout the day.

Responsibilities
? Retrieve and stack specific products and quantities as specified on the pick ticket/computer screen.

? Assist in case picking and sorting within the automated environment using computers and complex machines.

? Collaborate within a team environment to coordinate and organize efficient warehouse processes.

? Maintain knowledge of different work areas and meet minimum expectations in each area.

? Assist in daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse, keeping the work area clean and free of debris.

? Work safely and efficiently to control warehouse inventory and minimize shrinkage.

? Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support warehouse operations.

Requirements
? 1 to 3 years of work experience in a warehouse or similar environment.

? Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere while walking and repetitively lifting 30 lbs.
,
? Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
,
? Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen.
,
? Attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages.
