Minimum qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. ? 5 years of experience in content policy, anti-abuse, or scaled operations. ? 2 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications: ? Experience as a thought leader and team lead or people manager in an analytical, anti-abuse environment (e.g., content abuse, spam, or other behavioral abuse).

Experience with exposure or in the misinformation space. * Ability to work in a rapidly-changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty through quantitative insights.
? Ability to lead a team to frame problems, structure analyses, and drive impact.
? Ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional partners across geographies.

As a Policy Enforcement Team Lead on YouTube's Trust and Safety team, you will lead a team responsible for effectively enforcing our misinformation content policies, from the point of identification of possible violations to removal and appeals. You will work alongside product and engineering stakeholders to implement effective abuse detection mechanisms and safety controls as well as PR and comms stakeholders to ensure our decisions are communicated externally. You will review graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive video content in line with YouTube?s Community Guidelines.

This role will require on-call work at weekends and holiday hours on a rotational basis.

Additional Information

(Colorado only*) Minimum full-time salary range between $143,000 - $154,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. *Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

Responsibilities
? Leverage people management and mentoring experience to lead a team of global, diverse experts.
? Work closely with all the global vendor operations leads on shaping direction and resource allocation for our global misinformation operations.
? Prepare presentations and clearly communicate initiatives to management and to the broader organization, and liaise with Policy, PR, Search and Discovery, and Legal teams to craft and implement process solutions to emerging threats.
? Support strategic direction for the Medical Misinformation policy enforcement vertical, including overseeing core metrics.
? Manage sensitive and complex escalations, including independently identifying sensitive cases for leadership escalation and helping to drive appropriate resolution.
