SUMMARY

    As the Walmart Team Leader at Ken’s Foods, LLC, you will lead the growth and management of our Brands at Walmart U.S., driving both revenue and profit. Your goal is to elevate account management through innovative strategies, effective tactics, and close collaboration. You will be responsible for aligning business goals with Walmart’s strategies, leveraging market insights, and leading a cross-functional team to achieve success. This position requires a leader who is proactive, data-driven, and highly collaborative, with strong business acumen and a passion for driving results.
  • Location: Bentonville, AR (or relocation required)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Execution
  • Drive the achievement of AOP targets (sales volume, financial goals).
  • Maximize trade spending while maintaining budget compliance.
    Customer Relationship & Strategy Management
  • Lead strategic discussions on category growth, assortment, and space decisions with senior Walmart executives.
  • Develop and execute long-term customer strategies, aligning with Ken’s corporate objectives to achieve volume, profit, and market share growth.
  • Foster executive-level relationships and ensure alignment with Walmart’s leadership.
  • Track industry trends, monitor competitors, and implement brand/category strategies.
    Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team and external brokers.
  • Provide direction on corporate strategies and customer-specific initiatives.
  • Ensure effective communication between Sales and Supply Chain to mitigate risks and address challenges.
    Financial Management & Compliance
  • Monitor and control sales spending, expenses, and ensure adherence to financial policies.
  • Enforce customer compliance with contractual agreements, managing deductions and charge-back issues.
  • Oversee trade funds for promotional activities to drive volume within approved limits.
    Collaboration with Marketing & R&D
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company goals, driving growth within Walmart and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and R&D teams to identify consumer trends, insights, and product opportunities that align with customer needs and market demands.
  • Serve as a bridge between sales, marketing, and R&D to ensure alignment on product innovation, packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide sales team input on new product concepts, campaigns, and innovations, ensuring the development of products that meet customer expectations and drive growth.
    Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of cross-functional sales experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, including strong knowledge of Walmart operations.
  • Proven success in key/national account management and leading sales teams.
  • Experience across multiple CPG channels such as Field Operations, Customer Management, and Category Management.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Up to 30% required.
