Accounting Manager – 100% Remote
- About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a long-standing government contractor in the DMV.
- Due to a vacancy, they are hiring an Accounting Manager to work 100% Remote.
- Schedule is Mon-Fri regular business hours 8a-5p.
- Duration: indefinite - possible contract-to-hire depending on needs of the business, performance, and fit.
- Pay: $55-57/hr based on experience.

- Overview of the Accounting Manager role:
- Utilize PROCAS Accounting, Timekeeping, and Expense Reporting Software extensively.
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks.
- Assist in monthly book closings and prepare regular financial reports.
- Ensure project costs and expenses comply with contractual obligations and Government regulations.
- Develop, analyze, and prepare cost proposals for government and commercial clients.
- Support end-of-year tax documentation processes.
- Understanding of DCAA regulations.
- Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Procas experience is a plus
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
