Software Test Technician

As a Software Test Technician you will provide technical support for Neptune to our R&D team by developing and recommending procedures and methods, determining root cause and preparing technical reports and documentation for our Instruments portfolio.

This role is on-site 5 days a week in Portage, MI.

What you will do:
? Take ownership for the testing effort of software for medical devices
? Develop and execute robust software verification test procedures
? Understand Software and System requirements
? Be responsible for documentation of test procedures and test forms, as well as supporting documents
? Drive root cause investigations for failures from software tests
? Work with multi-disciplinary teams in software verification and validation testing

What you need

Required:
? High school diploma/GED
? 3+ years of applicable experience

Preferred:
? Regulated industry experience such as Medical, Aerospace, Defense, Communication, and/or automotive embedded software control experience is a plus.
? Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, etc.
? Experience with debugging tools and methods
? Strong attention to detail and task organizational skills
