Job Description
Mirova's Boston-based team is looking to add an Equity Research Analyst Trainee to its investment team for 2025. In this role, the candidate will work closely with Equity Research Analysts and Portfolio Managers on various projects related to stock analysis. Examples of projects may include: competitive analysis, financial modeling and primary research on a company's products and services.
Description of VIE's role :
? Help to conduct initiation research reports and regular updates on global (mainly U.S.) mid and large cap companies across various sectors to evaluate competitive positioning, financial structure, longer-term business opportunities and management quality ;
? Help to conduct thematic analysis ;
? Building and maintaining financial models and valuation analysis to determine whether stocks are trading at attractive valuations relative to their long-term prospects ;
? Writing research reports and presenting companies in investment committee meetings to a 3-person portfolio management team ;
? Working closely with the Mirova ESG analyst team and investment teams on analysis and idea generation. Challenge and be challenged and integrate the information in your research reports ;
? Interacting with company management teams, internal investment management teams in the US and Paris, RFP and client relation team.
