What You?ll Do:
? Set the strategic direction for software development and testing, ensuring alignment with the company?s overall vision.
? Collaborate with product teams to plan and execute new features, products, and service offerings.
? Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing software engineering team across multiple locations.
? Foster a positive and engaging team culture that promotes innovation and collaboration.
? Oversee the entire software development lifecycle?from design and development to testing, deployment, and security.
? Develop strong relationships with customers to drive customer-centric solutions and influence future initiatives.
? Partner with cross-functional teams to drive engagement and success at the site level.
? Effectively communicate across all levels of the company, bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
? Stay up to date with industry trends, AI advancements, and emerging tools in medical device software engineering.
? Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements (including FDA guidelines for medical software).
? Champion cybersecurity and privacy policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
? Manage team budgets, resources, and headcount to optimize performance and efficiency.
? Promote diversity, inclusion, and professional growth within the organization.
What You?ll Bring:
? Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or a related field.
? 10+ years of experience developing complex software for medical devices.
? 5+ years of experience leading technical teams in software development and testing.
? Strong background in agile methodologies (such as Scrum) and software lifecycle management.
? Experience in cybersecurity, privacy policies, and software test automation.
? Working knowledge of tools like Jama, Jira, and familiarity with IEC 62304 standards.
? Experience in CUDA, OPENCL, Graphics card programming, and CT Imaging is a plus.
? A proven track record of launching and maintaining medical device software.
? Passion for Electrophysiology, clinical workflows, and enhancing user experience.
? Ability to lead multi-site teams and collaborate across different locations.
