The Merchant Sales Advisor Virtual position at KeyBank involves partnering with the KeyBank KMS team and Business Banking Relationship Managers (BBRMs) to acquire, expand, and retain business clients with both fundamental and advanced Merchant processing needs. This role is designed for individuals who can effectively manage client relationships and identify their needs through virtual communication, including conference calls and relationship reviews. The advisor will work with businesses that have annual gross revenues ranging from $3 million to $25 million, focusing on deepening existing relationships and providing integrated solutions to meet client needs. In this role, the advisor will help manage a book of business by proactively identifying opportunities for integrated solutions that address unmet client needs. They will support channel Relationship Managers in recognizing opportunities for both clients and prospects, ensuring that they stay informed about client relationships and maintain effective communication with internal partners. The advisor will also educate clients and channel partners on cash management solutions to enhance their understanding of working capital. The position requires responding to client requests, tracking and implementing client setups, and following up to ensure that client needs are being met. The advisor will maintain data integrity in SalesForce, ensuring a complete picture of client service and support. Additionally, the advisor will develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of KeyBank's products and services, as well as an understanding of competitors and their offerings. Embracing a virtual team model is essential, as is acting with urgency to respond to client and partner requests, thereby maximizing the advisor's status as a trusted partner.
Responsibilities
? Help manage a book of business to deepen existing relationships through proactive identification of integrated solutions to unmet client needs for businesses with $3MM-$25MM annual gross revenue.

? Support channel Relationship Managers in identifying opportunities for clients and prospects.

? Work with channel Relationship Managers to stay up to date on client relationships and maintain fluid communication with internal partners to provide seamless service to clients and prospects.

? Leverage opportunities to educate both channel and clients on fundamental and advanced cash management solutions to enhance expertise on working capital.

? Respond to client requests (direct or through channel), obtain information necessary to track and implement client setups seamlessly and flawlessly.

? Follow up with channel or client to ensure needs are being met and communicate with respective partners to maintain data integrity in SalesForce.

? Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services as well as knowledge of competitors and competitive products.

Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree or similar work experience

? Minimum 2 years Merchant Processing sales experience
,
? Proven track record of success in a client-focused environment with aggressive sales/service goals

? Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule Mon-Fri

? Exceptional negotiating and closing skills

? Strong communication skills

? Ability to effectively utilize consultative and strategic solution selling skills and deliver products and services based on identified value proposition.
