Responsibilities
? Assists teacher(s) with student academic goals by working with small groups or individual children.

? Enforces classroom management and behavioral plans to create a conducive learning environment.

? Supervises students during breakfast, recess, lunch, dismissal, and special events.

? Prepares paperwork for the ARD/IEP process and collects data for special education reports.

? Plans, prepares, and implements differentiated instruction for individual students and groups.

? Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
? Educational Aide certificate as established by the State Board for Educator Certification.

? Completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester hours) or possess an associate's degree.

? Demonstrate knowledge of reading, writing, and mathematics through a local academic assessment.
