About the position

The Information Security Operations Associate Analyst is accountable to the Manager Information Security Operations and responsible for information security related analysis. This role assists in the development, deployment, implementation, and tactical support relating to information security operational processes and procedures of the Global Security Team (GST). The analyst will conduct research for reliable, up-to-date information across the industry regarding information security operations, including new and existing threats, vulnerabilities, policies, and processes. Additionally, the analyst will assist with information security operations and technology projects that have operational impacts across all business segments of Vericast. The role involves identifying and analyzing threats and vulnerabilities to Vericast and its subsidiaries, maintaining reliable information regarding information security operations, and incorporating findings into actionable deliverables.

Responsibilities
? Assist the Managers of the GST in development, deployment, implementation, and tactical support relating to information security operational processes and procedures.

? Conduct research for reliable, up-to-date information regarding information security operations, including new and existing threats, vulnerabilities, policies, and standards.

? Deliver appropriate documentation that reflects the output from the analysis conducted.
,
? Accountable for meeting assigned service level metrics.

Requirements
? Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Protection, Computer/Data Systems Management or a related field or discipline is preferred.
,
? 1 ? 3 years of combined experience in information security, information technology, and related services and management is desired.
,
? Technical skills in vulnerability assessment, networking, operating systems, incident response methodology, and ability to contribute to data for Executive level summaries are desired.
,
? Possession of technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA CySA+ or other related industry certifications is generally desirable.
,
? Ability to effectively interface with fellow employees of the Corporation.
,
? Working technical knowledge and experience in information technology, computing systems, network technology, security operations, security technology, and the application of information security concepts.
,
? Strong customer service, teamwork, and communications skills.
,
? Programming skills desired.
