Bookkeeper, A/P A/R Specialist, Accounting

You will be under the direct supervision of the Owner and must be able to multi-task and adjust to random tasks as needed. Below are the duties, but not limited:
Dailly, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual accounting tasks
Assist branch and C-Suite management
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Provide support during annual audits and tax preparation.
Handle any other bookkeeping tasks as required.
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications/skills:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in the flooring or construction industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
3-5 years minimum experience is a must.
