As a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for customers. Your ability to identify key titles and tailor merchandise selection to reflect the community will further enhance the store's appeal. Maintaining a neat and tidy store is vital, as is creating displays that ensure the bookstore is always shoppable and inviting. You will also assist with events and community outreach, protecting company assets by adhering to processes that control shrink, expense, and payroll. Recognizing and offering help to both customers and employees with urgency and care will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will model expected behaviors to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
