In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages and documents to their designated destinations. Safely and efficiently transport packages and documents to designated destinations.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while operating company vehicles.
Load and unload packages and documents from delivery vehicle.
Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures and payments as required.
Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service.
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all packages and documents.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and effective delivery operations.
Follow all company rules and regulations, including those set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues or concerns to management.
Keep up-to-date on any changes in delivery routes or procedures.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and excellence in all aspects of the job.
Continuously strive to improve delivery processes and procedures.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the FedEx brand.
Attend training sessions and company meetings as required.
Meet or exceed performance standards set by management.
Handle customer complaints or concerns in a prompt and efficient manner.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all packages and documents.
Adhere to strict deadlines and schedules.
Represent the company in a positive manner at all times.
