About the position

The Merchandise Associate at Marshalls is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to operational and merchandising standards. This role involves cross-training in various store areas to support business needs and embodying the company's values of honesty, integrity, and respect.

Responsibilities
? Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.

? Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.

? Cross-train to work in multiple areas of the store as needed.
,
? Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
,
? Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
,
? Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back according to established procedures.
,
? Promote credit and loyalty programs.
,
? Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and follow established procedures and standards.
,
? Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures.
,
? Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
,
? Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in the maintenance of the entire store.
,
? Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
,
? Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
,
? Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
,
? Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
,
? Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
? Excellent customer service skills.

? Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.

? Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

? Capable of multi-tasking and responding appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
