Develop and maintain relationships with local tour operators and vendors at each port of call to ensure a variety of high-quality shore excursion options for guests
Create and manage a budget for all shore excursion activities, including negotiating pricing and contracts with vendors
Collaborate with onboard departments to promote and market shore excursions to guests
Train and supervise a team of shore excursion staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards for all shore excursions
Respond to and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to shore excursions in a timely and professional manner
Continuously seek out new and unique excursion options and activities to enhance the guest experience
Monitor and analyze guest feedback and excursion sales data to make informed decisions about future excursion offerings
Coordinate and communicate with ship's captain and crew regarding port information and any changes to itinerary
Assist in the development of shore excursion itineraries for upcoming voyages
Maintain accurate records and reports of all shore excursion activities, expenses, and revenue.
